Fuego raise over $3,000
Proceeds benefit Disabled American Veterans

FRESNO, CALIF. – The Fresno Fuego announced today that their first-ever jersey auction, held after Friday’s match against the San Jose Frogs, raised $3,075 for Disabled American Veterans.

During the match, Fuego players wore special red, white, and blue jerseys. These jerseys were auctioned off in a live auction following the match.

With more than 1.2 million members, Disabled American Veterans is an organization of disabled veterans who are focused on building better lives for disabled veterans and their families.

The organization accomplishes this goal by providing free assistance to veterans in obtaining benefits and services earned through their military service. It is fully funded through its membership dues and public contributions. It is not a government agency and receives no government funds.

The Fuego open a two-match road trip on Friday at Ventura County. Fresno returns to Chukchansi Park on Thursday, June 5, hosting the Bakersfield Brigade at 7:00 p.m. All fans in attendance receive a Fuego Dance Team Poster, courtesy of Advanced Laser Clinic of Fresno. It’s also Thirsty Thursday, with $1 Tecate and Tecate Light available through the first half, and $1 sodas all night long.
