READING, PA – Reading United has dipped into the heart of Tobacco Road for it first two player announcements of 2010, gaining commitments from Duke’s Andrew Wegner and North Carolina’s Billy Schuler.
Wenger who joined the then Rage at midseason in 2009, had an immediate impact on last years’ PDL Regular Season National Championship side. The Lititz, PA native is one of the top prospects in the country having picked up ACC Freshman of the Year honors to go along with his All-ACC First Team recognition. Wenger has represented the U.S. U17 and U20 National Team and was recognized as the National High School Player of the Year at Warwick High School before attending Duke.
