BREMERTON, WA - The Kitsap Pumas professional soccer club of Bremerton, Washington, held invitational player tryouts this past weekend at Silverdale Stadium. The first session took place on a rainy Friday night as more than fifty players tried to catch notice of head coach Peter Fewing and his assistants. Among the group were players from Scotland, France, Brazil, the continent of Africa, America, Canada and others.
David Falk spoke with trialists David Gray and Allan Creer, who were here from Scotland to have a go. Gray caught Falk's attention earlier this last week when he was featured in a paper back home. A good portion of the Pumas roster also mixed in with the trialists. Among those was winger Mark Conrad, who was recently interviewed here.
