WALTHAM, MA - After dropping their season opener last weekend, The MPS Cape Cod Crusaders will be looking to bounce back when they entertain Reading Rage at Bridgewater-Raynham HS on Friday night. Kick off for the game is slated for 7.00pm.

The Crusaders saw a 26 game undefeated home record snapped by NH Phantoms during Saturday’s season opener.

"Obviously Saturday's defeat was a big disappointment for everyone at the club but there were many positives we can take from the game" said Crusaders Head Coach Paul Baber. "The extra week of practice will allow us more time to prepare as we look to bounce back and get our season back on track."

Baber will once again field forward Chris Banks who scored in his debut during Saturday night’s contest. Jason Massie will again line up in the Crusaders midfield after opening the season with a fine individual performance against NH Phantoms.

"I was delighted that Chris got on the score-sheet this early in the season as it is always important for our strikes to play with confidence" said Baber. "Jason again showed on Saturday that he has the ability to be one of the leading midfielders in the PDL this season."

The game on Saturday will mark the Crusaders lone visit to Bridgewater-Raynham High School this season.
