Fresno Heads to Bakersfield for Game Against Brigade
Coming off of a 2-1 win at Southern California, the Fresno Fuego look for another strong effort on Saturday when they head to Bakersfield for match-up against the Brigade. Game time is set for 7:30 p.m. at Bakersfield Christian High School. Last season, the two teams split their meetings with the Brigade winning 3-0 in Bakersfield, and the Fuego prevailing 4-1 in Fresno.

Metros open home season after North Carolina split
The Nashville Metros will open their home season with two big matches against Florida teams next week after splitting a two-game road trip in North Carolina to open the season last weekend. The home opener for the Metros, currently tied for second place in the eight-team PDL Southeast division, will be at 7 p.m. Wednesday, May 21 against the Bradenton Academics. The Metros will also suit up at 7 p.m. on Saturday, May 24 to take on the expansion Panama City Pirates.

Piranhas Head North To Williamsburg
The PDL Piranhas will head north on I-64 Saturday night, to James City County Stadium in Williamsburg to take on the Virginia Legacy. Both teams are looking for their first wins of the new season. The Piranhas (0-1-0) lost a heartbreaker in stoppage time on May 10, giving up a lone goal in the 91st minute to drop their season opener to Northern Virginia 1-0.

The Michigan Bucks prepare to open their thirteenth season in the United Soccer League’s (USL) Premier Development League with a home match Saturday night (7:30 kickoff) against the West Virginia Chaos. The opening night game will feature the Bucks first regular season game played in their new home at Ultimate Soccer Arenas.

Phantoms to Face Rhode Island On Saturday
Hoping to build on the previous two games, a 1-1 tie against Long Island and a stunning 2-1 team effort win versus Cape Cod last Saturday, handing the Crusaders there first home lose in four years, the Phantoms will head back on the road to face Rhode Island on Saturday.
