Brian Shumate, from Chesterfield, VA, had a goals against average of 1.22 for the Future in 2005.  He started all 20 games for the CNU Captains as a senior in 2004, amassing 11 wins with 9 shutouts.  He had a 1.24 goals against average, with 93 saves on the season.  In 2004 he was named USA South First team all-Conference Goalkeeper.
